THE FISHING:
 I
If your interest is fly-fishing rivers and lakes, saltwater
estuaries or both, you deserve the best the Patagonia has to offer and
that is what we have awaiting you.
You’ll encounter large numbers of fish as well as a number of large fish.
Both beginning and advanced anglers will enjoy fly fishing here.
In addition
to the fishing, Yan Kee Way offers marvelous guided adventure options,
like photography expeditions, trekking, mountain biking, whitewater
rafting and boating, climbing and canyoning and scenic horseback rides.

LODGING:
Private chalets, bungalows and hotel style rooms, designed to accommodate
groups of various sizes. Each building was carefully designed and
constructed from beautiful local woods, in a style appreciative of local
architecture yet incorporating many modern features, including central
heating and details such as fluffy towels, bathrobes and goose down
comforters, which are sure to please your family and friends.
What can you
expect?
El Patagon
Leave the US in the evening arrive in Santiago the next morning, fly from
Santiago to Puerto Montt where a Yankee Way representative will meet you
and escort you to your short flight to Chaiten where an El Patagon rep
will meet and drive you to El Patagon Lodge (about a 3 hour drive). Where
you will relax in the luxury of the lodge and have a fantastic dinner,
then prepare for 6 days of fishing at its best. Note Temperatures
generally run from 50-90 degrees so you will want clothes to accommodate
both extremes.
You can expect great fishing in the streams and rivers of remote Chile
either from shore or by boat or river raft. The fish generally run 14”-18’
but it is not uncommon to see 20” to 25” fish during the week. Expect a
mixture of tough and great fishing days. You may catch rainbow, German
Brown, or Brook trout.
Yankee Way
Leave the US in the evening arrive in Santiago the next morning, fly from
Santiago to Puerto Montt where a Yankee Way Representative will meet and
escort you to Yankee Way Lodge (about an hour drive). You will rest, have
dinner and get ready for 6 full days of fishing.
What’s
included?
All meals, lodging, ground transportation, guides and boats are included
in the price of your trip.
What’s not
included?
Airfare, alcoholic beverages (other than the complimentary wine with
meals) phone calls, faxes, laundry service, and gratuities. (You can rent
fishing equipment and the Lodge sells flies.)
