The Fishing
There are so many varieties of fish to be caught on the Pacific side of
Costa Rica. Depending on if you choose to fish the deep water or inland
fishing in the huge bay, you will find an astounding array of fish, and
methods.
There are expert guides to help you have successful angling trips; they
carry excellent equipment, all the cold drinks you could want, and lunch
on whole day trips plus bait and lures.
The license is included, so there is not even that detail with which to
concern yourself – just go and enjoy and try to win the contest!

The Water

From the
calm, low-tide beach just off the pier at Crocodile Bay, along the
mountainous coast into the deeper waters is a feast for the eye.
The sea is a magician. It can go from threatening and stormy to serene
in a matter of minutes. It can be smooth as glass – then exert its
power in sweeping swells – and all, as you sit and observe.
Not more than 30 minutes away is a beach for the experienced surfer,
boasting the 2nd longest waves in the world and providing a real
challenge for even the best surfers among you. Or, just experience a
day at the beach. Either way, it’s a special treat. |
• There is a 5000
square foot spa with 4 full time massage therapists who perform massages
from the Anglers Special – Upper back, shoulders, and neck- to a full
Swedish massage as well as several others.
• There are Eco-Tours that include Zip-Line tours over the forest canopy,
surfing, water-fall rappelling, kayaking, Rainforest tours, Butterfly and
botanical garden, Cayman and Crocodile stream, in town (Puerto Jimenez)
shopping, beach time, horseback riding, and picnics, etc.,etc.
• The meals are served with variety, and a quality and quantity you will
enjoy in a beautiful relaxed atmosphere.
• The bar is open from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM and serves everything from
bottled water, to soft drinks, to wines and mixed drinks. (All included
