Located near Albany, Georgia, Little River Plantation covers over 20,000 acres of forest, field, ponds and Lakes.
This destination offers exceptional wing shooting with multiple quail hunting options for the wingshooting enthusiast. Multitudes of fast flying quail, the careful working of the dogs, combined with the action and camaraderie amongst fellow hunters and guide, offer a wonderful respite from the doldrums of the business world.

The Hunting

The Hunt is conducted with flushing dogs and professional guides and specially equipped Jeeps. While there are wild birds and other wildlife, you will hunt a specified area where pen-raised birds have been released to ensure you a successful hunt.

Best Time is December, January, February, or March. Littler River Plantation takes a maximum of 16 hunters double occupancy.

Fishing is also available.

Accommodations

  7000 square-foot lakefront lodge with 8 bedrooms, each complete with full-bath, can comfortably accommodate groups of as many as 16 to as few as two. The lodge is fully handicap accessible. The Great Room offers sportsmen the luxury of a relaxing evening by the fireplace, a round of billiards, or a quiet rock on the porch. The lighted trap/skeet range offers guests the option of some after dinner friendly competition.

What’s Included Beautiful semi-private rooms, All meals- (Southern cooking}, Open Bar in the evening, Professional guides, well trained dogs, up to 60 birds a day, no license fee.
