THE
FISHING:
The area
is home to elk, deer, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, wolves, eagles and
cutthroat and rainbow trout.
Fishing is encouraged – it is on a catch and release basis using only
single barb-less hooks, and no bait fishing is permitted.
3-10 day fishing license is required at a cost of $10.50 for the first day
and $4.00 for each successive day of fishing.

Hats (baseball style and warm cap) Gloves (fleece or wool)

Zip-lock bags for wet items and we suggest you pack your clothes in large
zip-lock bags. |
ACCOMMODATIONS:
You will need to plan on 2 nights in a hotel in Ketchum, Idaho (The night
before the trip starts and the night you come off the river). Special
rates are offered at the Kentwood Lodge. 800-805-1001, or try Wood River
Inn 877-542-0600, or there are other options available in the area.
While on the river trip, you will be accommodated in 2 person tents unless
otherwise requested. A deluxe sleeping pad is included and high quality,
freshly cleaned, sleeping bags.
MEALS:
The
quality of the meals matches the magnificent setting on the Middle Fork.
Meals are prepared from fresh ingredients and using their own time tested
recipes. Meals include dishes like: Grilled Salmon with roasted pepper
salsa, fresh scones dripping with honey, Herb-crusted pizza, Teriyaki Pork
Tenderloin, Barbecued shrimp, or New York Steak with plenty of fresh
vegetables. Lunches include salads, sandwiches, and cookies. In the
evenings there will be appetizers and great desserts.
If you have special dietary restrictions please make them known ahead of
time so they can be accommodated.
What is
provided:
* All eating utensils, water bottles, cups
* Four water-proof duffels- 1 for clothes, 1 for
sleeping bag, 1 for
sleep mat, and a day bag.
* Coast Guard approved Life-jacket
* First aid kits on all boats.
* Fishing rod rentals are available and Flies
are for sale. Reservations for rod rental are required
at per week rate.
* Our gear boat goes ahead of the party and sets
up camp and dining facilities.
* Before dinner is a Happy Hour during which we
provide a limited bar. If you have a personal favorite, you need to bring
your own. (No glass bottles are allowed)
* River safety information at orientation
What is
NOT Included:
* Any equipment that you rent or buy
* Any souvenirs
* Scenic Flight from Salmon , Idaho back to Sun
Valley or Shuttle service back can also be
pre-arranged.
* Fly-in Launch when required by high or low
water conditions- (All trips starting in early
August will require this flight. It can be paid for by cash, check, or
Master Card or Visa. (Payable at the orientation meeting.)
* Trip insurance
* Premium liquor and wine (While on the river
alcohol consumption is limited for safety reasons.) NO GLASS!
Beer and soft drinks
Gratuities are at your discretion. 10-15% of the trip amount is
recommended.
